It's a manhunt? No it's a birdhunt! :: Hunting the heretics

Much apologies for the slowness for this muse. I have been busying apping for not one but two characters. For now, this is the discussion as to what Frollo is going to do because I keep losing track of things! So I just write this down with some notes. The events that I listed out before you did not happen yet, so if there is some changes or corrections of events timewise, feel free to correct me.


(Mid-March 14 to April 7th) Before & during Spring Court
Okay, so according the calender, Spring Court will last Saturday, March 24th and will last for two weeks ending on Saturday, April 7th. This is already happened a few weeks before Spring Court in which there are already quite a number of wanted ads of Lord Shen's mug face and he's wanted for the attacks on the outlying Churches and destroy and stealing their Relics at pretty much the same time that the main Church is under attack. He is wanted for assault and murder on Church members, trespassing, and theft.

Optional quest: There would be also rewards in the capture of Shen's men and his staff. They are wanted for the information and whereabouts of their leader. If you want to make this interesting, I may capture one of the beastmen or allies or NPCs serving Shen and there will be a hellish torture and interrogation session involved in Prison! I may torture the prisoner to death or if I left the person alive, there would be a rescue mission involved. It's up to you!

I would like to know if there is any anti-Church enemies that Frollo should keeps his tabs on?

During Spring Court, there will be an increase of security with the Church's soldiers on the look-out for the criminals involved. However, since the festival is very crowded, the Church soldier's will be very distracted in keeping crowd control. Your character should have no problem putting on many disguises and blending in with the crowd.

Therefore, nobody is going to get captured or arrested during Spring Court. The ideal is to irritate Frollo into a barrage of headaches and migraines, because he can't capture nobody!

Frollo will be attending the tournament as one of the judges.


(After Spring Court ended, throughout April) During and after the Major's Wedding
I figured this is after the events that transpired above. Frollo will be attending the wedding and will be shocked to discover that Integra has harbored her vampire, Alucard, while working for the Church for so long! Such treachery! He will witnessed the chaos and survived the bloodbath at the wedding. He'll conclude that Integra is dabbled in the dark arts.

Now, I have a plan for Frollo to be severely wounded from the battle as the result from the bullets that will fly. It doesn't matter who shots it, he'll assume it would be Alucard. He has a tarot card "Judgement". It would be activated when a killing blow was be struck, turning it aside and leaving the wielder severely wounded but alive.

Therefore, Frollo will be in the hospital, healing from his injuries. He is still such a dick, even severely wounded and resting in the hospital. Once he woke up from his surgeries, he will legally revoked Integra's station and role with the Church, thereby removing her membership. Also, he will put up wanted ads for both Integra and Alucard (with inaccurate mug shots, because Alucard's face keeps shifting and changing during his Level 1 state) for the murders involved at the wedding, lying, dabbling in dark arts, and so forth.

Since Integra will be moving to Britain for her safety, she would be a wanted fugitive with the Church soldiers across the states on her route. Those soldiers will be on the look-out to arrest her on the spot. Therefore, Integra and her vampire will have a difficult time getting to her destination safely without getting caught.

And thus, with Frollo in the hospital, he'll be resting and be out of commission for a while until he feels better, healed from his wounds, and recovered.

Taryn and Luna's Call will most likely be aiding Integra behind the scenes (still in ooc works so not active yet), so there will be a large beastman force in Lerrian not associated with Shen involved. Frollo is free to assume it's Shen aiding her or whatnot.

That's a great idea. I'll bring this to Integra mun's attention. I play her servant, vampire, Alucard who is gonna crash and troll that wedding to infinity. This would be a great opportunity for them to gain friends and allies too.

AOB here, just in a different account. I was hoping to get the marriage log up tonight, but seems like you still need some time to plot things out. I don't mind waiting a few more days, really! Just getting that out there.

I actually would like Alucard and Integra to enjoy Spring Court and the tournament before the wedding. There's something I would like to do for her as part of their subplot before the wedding is underway. For example, Alucard is going to participate in the tournament and she'll be there observing.

Also, according to my notes, there's also a bunch of CRs and characters that needs to develop before the wedding. For example, Alucard and Rip needs to meet as normal people before her mind broke by ZAMIEL at the wedding.

I didn't expect those two events to happen of course. NOT ACCORDING TO PLAN.

Spring Court would happen on Saturday March 24th and will last for two weeks, ending on Saturday, April 7th. Therefore, I surmise that you need to move the wedding until April and hold back not for a few more days, but by a month.

So, I just corrected the dates of the events on this entry to make it clearer. Does that help?

Wait a second, love. If Alucard competes in the tourney, Frollo will find out about him anyways, wouldn't he?

He won't. Alucard won't show his vampire powers because he knows people are watching and he wanted to protect Integra's reputation by hiding it. Considering Integra watching it too, he knew he must hide his true nature. He's only going to fight fair and square in a fist fight only, and if it's necessary, he would bring out his guns.

Otherwise, Frollo wouldn't suspect a thing.

I believe Alucard can shapeshift to his woman-girly-card form if his Restriction Levels goes down to at least 3 or 2. Which unfortunately will reveal his Dark Aura of awesome.

Therefore, Alucard has to stick in fighting the men.

If you meant he can shift into any forms whenever he wanted, then yes. He can do so on his own just like lowering his restriction levels on his own. When he was fighting the Dandy Man in the Rio on the roof, he actually lower his restriction level down to release his power and tear the card man like he's paper.

Well, I know Frollo is pretty extreme, but would he consider asking Sync to "take care" of people for the Church at all?

Since he is technically an Intelligence Operative, he could at least ask the boy to scout the court. This may or may not fail, of course.

If Frollo wants to hunt heretics, then he'd probably be out to get the entire Kingdom of Sawa... several characters, including the royal governor (this dude) and his court advisors are openly antagonistic towards the church. Due to an arrangement between Sawa and the Emperor, though, there's an unofficial policy of religious tolerance within the kingdom. I imagine that the church will no longer honor that policy the minute the Emperor is dead, lol...

We shall see depend on the proper timing of events. Antagonism isn't enough to arrest anyone. What I looking for is any criminal acts for example: tresspasing, theft, murder, assault especially on Church members and Church property.

Religious intolerance isn't really enough. Plus, even though Frollo is a judge (I based him on being a judge basing on Criminal and Civil cases), you got lawyers who can make appeals in court. And I'm sure you got some NPCs lawyers defending behind your back in Sawa.

Oh, good, so he's not totally corrupt. That will endear him to Mitsunari somewhat, haha. While criminal acts are unlikely given Sawa's pacifistic nature, there is open heresy being perpetuated, and if the Church does declare an Inquisition on the kingdom (which has been brought up as a possibility), then things could rapidly get very ugly.

Well, let me share you a bit of my headspace and ideas. Unless he's obssessed over a girl that is out of Frollo's league, he's actually quite a professional when it comes to judicial law. Just not ethical at times. I'm a little new in learning and applying judicial law to the events happening into the game. Hee, I learn a little bit from the Phoenix Games. Heresy is labeled as illegal use of magic/witchcraft.

Plus, keep in mind, there are other Judges in your kingdom that will come to defend the kingdom of Sawa and some of them argued that Church and State must be kept separated. There would be a jury whose role is to remain neutral and examine the evidence and facts with objectivity, and it was their verdict that matters the most.

Frollo is a judge who believes Church and State are intertwined because God's word should be a part of the law. Just...don't go to a courthouse that is under the power of the Church, that is all.

Just one tiny point: Only assault and murder of Church OFFICIALS, and even then only the ones who try to fight him or his men. Shen is doing his best to stay away from the regular churchgoers, as slaughtering ordinary people completely undermines his point. That said, there will probably be one or two of the unavoidable civilian casualties.

Church officials, got it. *writes down in the notes* Good thing, I haven't updated Frollo's post, yet, huh? I was about to give an update this Friday as soon as I finish my log with Alphonse. Even if they did walk away barely alive and injured, the Church still wants the beastmen captured, eradicated, and be put to death. At least, that's what I got for the order from this post if I'm not mistaken!
