Future character post!

Hey, everyone! This is Ash, you might've seen me in chat, and I am posting here because I am bringing in Ichigo Kurosaki from the manga Bleach. This lovely young lady (Yeah, what of it?) will be pretty much the same as she is in canon, barring the obvious difference: loyal to, and fiercely protective of, her family and friends, and driven primarily by this desire to protect them. She's also the latest in a long line of soldiers from Suo-Oshima, serving as a swordswoman in the island nation's ground infantry, holding back the forces of the Rift that manage to get past the Zeon Navy and boasting an impeccable service record.

...And that's pretty much all I got so far. This is pretty much just background, so her current affiliation is still up in the air. I will say that I'm curious how Izanami-mun feels about possibly having some sort of deal with a strong-willed human, since I hear she's into that sort of thing. Other than that, COME AT ME BROS.

I can totally see Ichigo getting along with Caster - AKA Lina Inverse - actually, particularly after the Holy Grail War.

That would be interesting, what with Ichigo's C-cups. :|a Looking at her bio, though, I could totally see a similar dynamic to what Ichigo has in canon with Rukia, sort of a vitriolic best buds thing.

...as is Izanami, between canon compatibility and my addiction to voice actor jokes (on the American side, in this case).

You'll have to remind me how it is that Bleach starts, but if Ichigo would like to be recruited as a Shinigami, I can certainly arrange that.

Sadly, this iteration of Ichigo is voiced by Michelle Ruff. Unless she met Yukari when I wasn't looking.

It goes a little something like this, but this being AU, it would make pretty good sense to have her start out dying in battle and arranging for a release from the underworld. He's died enough in canon, so yeah. XD

From what I know of Ichigo's character, she'll definitely interest Izanami enough for Her to offer her a 'job'.

Hm. Plot idea follows:

Now that I think about it, I suggested that reapers/shinigami would be vulnerable to anti-Undead weapons. In the absence of a Rukia app, it's quite reasonable that, in a Zeon vs. Rift fight (or even Zeon vs. Millennium thugs fight), whatever nameless Shinigami reaps Ichigo's soul might get a Crystal bullet to the head in the crossfire immediately after. Thus, we have a convenient excuse to transfer that power to Ichigo as an experiment on Izanami's part (or even an accident, really).

Man, Shinigami either need to learn to dodge or start wearing red crosses...

Something I should add is I will probably be apping Aizen and form a general Gotei 13 faction under the Netherworld. Let's formalize the Reaper Army for Izanami, shall we?

Well, if it's possible she saw ghosts like in canon, then perhaps she saw the reaper who was sent to collect her (and because I enjoy irony, she gets killed because seeing the reaper distracted her). So, instead of a crystal bullet, it takes a crystal blade to the face from the very swordswoman it came to reap. The circumstances would at least be unique enough to draw Her attention, if it's possible it could happen.

Also, since she's part of the Zeon military, how familiar would Char be with her? She's probably a commoner, and would be the type to refuse promotion above an enlisted rank, but her record might at least draw his attention to her reputation.

That works for me, too. It's certainly badass.

And Char appreciates all his soldiers, even the redshirts. They probably don't know each other personally, but he keeps his eye out for soldiers who impress his officers (positively or negatively).
