Lerrian Conflict
Okay, so since Athrun and multiple members of Luna's Call are going to be in Imperial City for Spring Court, I thought we should get a rough idea of how things are going to work. It's my understanding that the siege of Ringfort will result in a stalemate, which will prompt negotiations to take place and eventually hand control of Lerrian over to Luna's Call. As for more specific things:
-I'm up for Athrun being the sole representative of Zeon in the negotiations. That said, should we do that, or should Char himself be forced to travel to Alilany?
-How will the two sides reach the point of negotiation? One thought I had is a Combat by Champion scenario that ends in a draw. If we do this, I would prefer Athrun fight an opponent whose attacks are predominantly physical so that Athrun is forced to stand down due to losing his Phase Shift, though I can work with someone who fights with other means, too. I'm also open to other ideas.
-I would imagine that Zeon will receive something in return for handing Lerrian over to Luna's Call. Any ideas on what that would be?
-How are the negotiating parties going to view each other after the fact? For what it's worth, I plan to have Athrun use no tactics that would be considered dishonorable for the defending side in siege warfare, and he'd be respectful in all dealings with the beastmen. He'd also passionately rebuff any accusations of fantastic racism -- being what he is, he probably grew up with people side-eyeing him all the time.
Feel free to add other points, because I'm sure I've missed some due to a combination of factors.

- Taryn will accept Athrun as the negotiator if he has the authority from Char to do it. So far he's been honorable, so she sees no reason not to consider him otherwise.
- Luna's Call will easily accept a Combat by Champion scenario in which Taryn herself will fight. She's a werewolf (though no one knows that), and like almost all beastmen, fights predominantly through physical means. She has regeneration, so she's a tough cookie to fight, but if Athrun backs off, so will she.
- I'm not sure what LC could give Zeon in exchange other than free passage through Lerrian when needed as long as it doesn't place Britain or Rome at risk. They're very skilled at Riftspawn combat, so Taryn can offer an alliance regarding calls for aid regarding the Rift. Any suggestions from Zeon's side?
- As long as this whole conflict remains honorable, Taryn will respect Athrun and not have any personal issues with Zeon afterward. She, personally, has some issues with Amestris, so Zeon automatically ranks higher than Amestris to her and she favors honor and strength. And if Taryn is cool with them afterward, so will most of Luna's Call.
As a side note, Taryn is planning on bringing Skrimir with her to look over the siege in his intro post, and he's all 'rawr rawr kick ass' and she's using it as a teaching tool for him to understand the importance of negotiation. I know Taryn had said to both Britain and Rome that she'd burn Ringfort down before letting Zeon have it, but that was a result of the siege starting near the full moon, so she gets really... pissy during that time. This works best since both Taryn and I didn't want to have to use a sappers fire to blow Ringfort up.

As for negotiation, if left to his own devices Athrun would probably suggest a Rift alliance. He lost his mother to Riftspawn, so he's got his own issues with the Rift.

Did you want to run a quick log with the negotiations?

I can set it up with an assumption that Athrun has sent word that he wants to negotiate. I can stick a section up for the other Luna's Call members to have their own conversations about it all while Athrun and Taryn are talking/fighting/dealing if you're cool with it.

If he's needed, though, Char'll physically go sign the place over.
