Nerdo here. I wanted to get the ball rolling on the following big Grail War fight log:

Archer, Assassin, and Saber (and optionally Nanoha and maybe Shamal if she wants in?) vs. Rider (and optionally Yuna).

I am posting here partly to ask if people want to DW-log this or use AIM instead, and if you want to use AIM, what time is good for everyone?

Anyway, comment on the how and the when and we can start killing people to prove the situation is serious.

Shamal will try to find Rider's master while the fight is going on, but unless Yuna is there, she'll be fairly useful aside from being able to get the others out after it all goes south. Up to you all, really, since I didn't have Shamal when the fight was planned.

It'll depend on if Yuna's going to be part of the action, I guess, but I'll be glad to have you either as a second front or an exit plan.

I'd say DWlog mostly because I've never done an AIM log before. BUT if everyone else wants to do that, I'm fine with it!

The advantage to chat-logging is that you can get a fairly detailed action scene RP'd out in an hour or two instead of a week, which avoids people going missing in the middle due to getting busy or bored. Assuming you can get everyone online at once.

The advantage to journal-logging is that you have a lot more time for each person to write in detail, and I personally find it easier to read after the fact.

Speaking as someone who's both run and participated in both types, I mean. I'm cool either way myself.

Yeah, I get the advantages of each. Which is why I'm good with doing either, even though I've never done a chatlog before! As much as I like taking my time with tags sometimes, I'd much rather get this out as quickly as possible

I was planning on posting as Rider, but.. you know what, I'll just get that out right now. With permission from the muns involved, I'm planning on having Rider retake his old home of L'Renouille in the Nameless States, slowly working his way into the capitol. The post will be up sometime soon for sure and they can totally attack him there.
