PROFTACULAR MINIBOSSTRAVAGANZA
Are you playing a villain in need of an underling? Are you playing a hero in need of a rival? Either way, this is the post for you!
Proftacular Minibosstragavanza
I want to come back to this game! However, I don't want to do so permanently. I want to play a series of midboss characters in order to grease the wheels of epicness in other people's plots. Here are som possibilities!
Grand Fisher (Bleach)

Giant hairy monster from the land of the dead. Pointlessly and delightfully cruel, with a taste for human souls. His main gimmick is a spiritual lure that he can shapeshift to look like people - he can also read people's memories in combat, allowing him to make it take the guise of someone close to them in order to throw them off balance.
You may want Grand Fisher in your plot if: Your character has a dead parent, but no concrete plot-related reason that they died! You enjoy fight logs against big fuckoff monsters!

Fat Elvis (God Hand)

Much more light-hearted villain! Elvis is a demon (a riftspawn, in this setting), who usually takes the form of an overweight Mexican guy. He's a fun-loving, cigar-smoking asshole who beats the shit out of people for fun. He also has a huge, mouth-covered demon form, and swears in spanish a lot.
You may want Fat Elvis in your plot if: You have a more light-hearted cast or plot going on! You want to have a rival who your heroic character can kick the ass of repeatedly! You need an affably incompetent evil subordinate!

Psycho Mantis (Metal Gear Solid)

A mentally unstable and ham-laden experimental super soldier gone wrong. Master of the psychokinetic arts. Power list includes telepathy, mind control, telekinesis, and invisibility at the least. Is known to monologue and to lean on the 4th wall. Has a tragic backstory, probably.
You might want Pyscho Mantis in your plot if: You're a needlessly evil organization with need of a field commander! You want to do logs involving weird head-trippy shit! YOU LIKE CASTLEVANIA, DON'T YOU?

Ulquiorra (Bleach)

Theoretically the same species as Grand Fisher up top, but much smaller, much more humanlike, and much, much more powerful. Essentially a tornado of corrupted human souls taken physical form, Ulquiorra is an emotionless monster that exists only to serve a more powerful master. He doesn't enjoy his job, but he's VERY good at it.
You might want Ulquiorra in your plot if: You need a damn dangerous right hand man with ties to the world of the dead! You want someone for your hero to have to struggle against multiple times before being able to dramatically defeat them! You like turquoise death lasers!

Augus (Asura's Wrath)

Augus is a demigod who revels in battle in all its glorious forms. He carries a giant sword around with him, but has only ever been forced to draw it in battle once. Enjoys driking, womanizing, and incredibly intense violence, sometimes all at the same time. If he's your subordinate, he'll be a valuable asset to your forces due to his wild, incredible power, but he'll also be an endless frustration, as he only ever engages in the fights that his own battle lust guides him towards. Following orders is for mortals.
You might want Augus in your plot if: You're a villain who needs an absurdly powerful and unpredictable warrior in his group! You're a hero who learned the art of badassery from someone in the past, and want to have an insanely epic Master VS Student showdown!

Arthas Menethil (Warcraft)

But wait, Prof! I hear you cry. You already finished playing Arthas! Well, this would be a bit different! I specifically want to play him in a Grahf-esque standing, occasionally making cameo appearances in major battles to grant the power of the Lich King unto a villain who was about to be defeated to make the battle more exciting.
You might want Arthas in your plot if: Do you desire the power?

THOUGHTS? And not just a name, either! I am specifically and actively looking for plot hooks to get some of these guys into the game. Also I might think of some more over the course of this post, in which case I'll add them down here. LET'S BOSS BATTLE.
