Pro Fighting Federation - Name to be determined later

Okay, I think this is the place to post this sort of thing:

Right now I'm working on the beginnings of the pro fighting league. Bradley and/or Light Yagami will be picking up some of the administration stuff and the training fields in Amestris have been offered at a venue.

The first match scheduled will be The Boulder vs Edge, with the winner going on to face Utena (simply by order of sign up).

If you wish to get in touch with me about it and help me put this together, I'm easily accessible at AIM at MattB345 or Plurk at Tazrael. I'll be a bit busy the next couple weekends but I'll still be in touch during the week for sure.

Not only are we looking for more fighters, but any backstage admins will be fine, as per pro wrestling drama.

Also, unable to fight but want to be involved? Find a fighter who is terrible on the trash talk and team up!

Well, Roy isn't going to fight in a pro wrestling league, but he will make an investment in it. He's got his family fortune just sitting in the bank, doing nothing but collecting interest. Might as well make use of a bit of it.

I was gonna answer your PM but figured this would be a better place: Is it gonna be fixed, pro wrestling style matches or more like modern MMA? What will the rules be like?

Sounds good to me. Right now I'm suddenly swamped with prep stuff for a con event I'm running weekend after next, so it's been making it hard for me to check in here. So sorry about all this.

I think more pro wrestling, with winners planned but who knows what will happen. I see maybe win by pinfall or submission. Remember though, it's more about stage presence and flash than it is about fighting skill.

Most importantly, we want to avoid fighters being injured seriously.

I'm also very happy with losing the belt to Utena in the first batch of matches.

Honestly I've never run a tournament in a format like this, so any suggestions would be helpful.
