Now, then.

Considering that Nobunaga has been around quite a while and was one of the more famous warlords in the past, I'd like to know if anybody's willing to form any CR with him. He's definitely one of the more ruthless of the kingdom lords. He often ends his battles as quickly as possible going as far as to burn down towns with enemies still inside or use dirty tactics like dress his soldiers as the enemy troops.

He was also one of the people who popularized firearms back then. Towards other lords, he could easily be insulting, calling them nicknames and whatnot without much regard. One thing to note is that the man was once known as an idiot before he became what he is today.

So, any takers?

As discussed, that maybe Waka and Nobunaga had dueled in the past, or Waka being his usual smug git self and prophetize at the guy.

Waka may have hinted at Nobunaga's ultimate downfall by Mitsuhide... which'll make him even more irritated at Waka. Damn pretty boy.

And I'm totally okay with them having dueled in the past. Although, who would you say might have won? Nobunaga's a huge cheat, but so's Waka, probably.

Good question, Waka almost never fights seriously and tends to withdraw after a point. So you can say it could easily be a draw, or Nobunaga winning because Waka withdrew

Nobunaga will pretend like he's the one that won. Really, though, he'd just be pissed that he dared tried to run away. He may not be much of a fan of Waka and he'll be insistent on catching him unaware one day.

I'd love to have Integra form some CR with him! Something tells me that she'd enjoy attempting to verbally put him in his place every now and then.

Oh, they have to meet. This Nobunaga is actually from another of Hirano's work, Drifters. To make things more fun? Nobunaga is more or less the Vlad Tepes of Japan in terms of how much history vilified him.

I'm especially hoping for talks with Alucard.

Hee! I could tell it was one of Hirano's, for sure. I honestly thought, when I first saw this post, it was Vlad!card. I have heard of Drifters, but never read it. I'm going to have to, now, I'm afraid~

Char approves of this guy. They might not have met in person, but Char probably studied him, at least.

It'll be fun seeing an admirer, heh. Yeah, both Char and Nobunaga are at the extremes when it comes to ambition. They may respect each other well enough and Nobunaga would even regard Char as a dangerous man.

Making the imminent battle all the more fun.

Looking at a timeline of two decades ago based on the other threads...he certainly probably was an inspiration for Char when he was learning to fight and plotting against the guys who usurped his dad's throne, yeah.

Expect some "you magnificent bastard, I READ YOUR BOOK" moments if their armies ever come to blows.

fffff, Nobunaga probably won't even have an army. Till he finds someone he's willing to elevate to kingship, he'll be sticking with guerilla warfare.

It might be a bit disappointing to see that he doesn't... well, he doesn't seem like the sorta man you'd respect to put it nicely.

The only things Char respects are ambition, cunning, and not fucking with his loved ones. Nobunaga's at least 2 for 3.

I wouldn't mind CR with Nobunaga and Victoria if possible. She is kinda living in Sawa >.>;; and has been around for over 500 years.

He made his move largely around two decades ago, so she definitely would have been around at the time. Sawa used to be much, much different back then which she could easily note.

A duel... would be fun! Alucard uses guns now, but who knows what he used a few decades ago. But granted, Nobunaga isn't at all like Anderson and doesn't have the power to regenerate, but... hey, Van Helsing didn't either, did he?

One thing that Alucard may like is that despite the fact that the man calls himself a "Demon King"? He's all human.

I figured maybe the duel happened during his Count Dracula days, when he's really obsessed with Mina Harker. Therefore, he didn't pay much attention to Nobunaga and he's all, "I gonna make that woman miiiine". Love makes people blind, you know?

Perhaps, Alucard would use one of his servants to do the dirty job for him to fight in the duel lol?

Maybe, maybe... Nobunaga isn't fair enough to come out himself during a duel without some ways to cheat, so hey, they'll both be even. And true, I suppose then that they might not have met in their former lives.

But really, this will be interesting... Like I said, Nobunaga is pretty much the Vlad Tepes of Japanese history.

Light probably wasn't around as he is very young, but he likely has studied the man extensively and may respect him at least on an intellectual level.

I'm always up for Xykon having just killed a bunch of his soldiers or blasted a castle or something in the past. Seriously, Xykon literally used to fly around doing that for kicks.
